WKDA is a registered charity and is an independent non-profit making organisation.

WKDA incorporates the advice centres formerly known as Sevenoaks Debt Advice Centre, Tonbridge Debt Advice Centre and Tunbridge Wells Community Centre for Debt Advice.

What do we do?

WKDA has a team of experienced staff and volunteer advisers who are trained to help people in debt through a process of investigating their money issues and working with them to develop solutions that will seek to return them to a sound financial footing.

We are here to help anyone who has debt problems and we deal with all types of issues from credit card debt, council tax arrears, utility bills through to threatened eviction or county court action.

We start the process by conducting a full income and expenditure assessment so that we can fully understand your individual circumstances. Using a financial statement which summarises your financial situation and debts we will then discuss with you what your options are.

With your commitment we will:

  • Endeavour to establish a fair and affordable solution with your creditors
  • Negotiate on your behalf if appropriate
  • Advise you on the most appropriate strategy for your situation, including bankruptcy or debt relief orders if necessary.

Whatever we decide together, we will help you through the entire process.

Our service is completely FREE, impartial and strictly confidential.
